About

Sarah is a director, designer & teaching artist based in Los Angeles & Orange County (i.e in the car). Directing credits include She Loves Me (Chance Theater), the world premiere of The Face in the Reeds (Ruskin Group Theatre), Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well… (Costa Mesa Playhouse), Odilia (Chance Theater, Hunger Artists Theatre, Kennedy Center Award Winner), Riders to the Sea (Grand Central Arts Complex), This Property is Condemned (Hallberg Theatre, CSUF), and The One Armed Man (CSUF). She served as Assistant Director on Death of a Salesman and The Motherf**ker with the Hat at the Tony-Award winning South Coast Repertory Theatre under Marc Masterson, and Michael John Garces, respectively. Sarah is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton’s Theatre Department with her B.A. in Directing.

As a costume designer, Sarah is a recent LA Weekly Nominee- Best Costume Design- for her work on the revival of El Grande de Coca Cola at the Ruskin Group Theatre, where she serves as resident costume designer. Other design work: Talhotblond, Paradise: a Divine Bluegrass Musical, Cyrano De Bergerac, Burn This, Shakespeare Abridged, Italian American Reconciliation, and Mutiny at Port Chicago (NAACP nominee-Best Costume Design). Sarah is a graduate of the Ruskin School of Acting’s 2 year Meisner Program, and a company member of the Ruskin Group Theatre.
